Position: Youth Crime Lawyer(s) (2 positions)

Youthlaw is seeking 2 enthusiastic and experienced lawyers to join our expanding crime team to develop and deliver a new crime service to reduce entry and progression of 18- to 25-year-olds into the criminal justice system.
Working closely as a team that includes a social worker you will provide early intervention legal and non-legal support & services to young people.
This role will include contributing to legal system reform and participating in advocacy about the overrepresentation and criminalisation of young people aged 18-25.
We are offering 2 positions, on full-time or part-time basis.

The position will work in an integrated practice environment delivering a new crime service to prevent entry and progression of 18- to 25-year-olds into the criminal justice system.
Working closely as a team you will provide early intervention services including assessment supported referral and short-term case work to young people.
This role will include contributing to system reform and participating in advocacy about the overrepresentation and criminalisation of young people aged 18-25.
The position is available full-time or on a part-time basis.
