Youthlaw supports community workers’ rights to join today’s Strike for Gaza without fear of reprisal. We back community sector calls for our peak bodies – the Federation of Community Legal Centres and Victorian Council of Social Service – to take concrete action to publicly condemn Israel’s genocide in Gaza, and advocate for the Australian Government to uphold international law, starting with an arms embargo and an end to trade and military cooperation with Israel.

Lee is a passionate and experienced leader in Victoria’s community legal and youth sectors, with a background in youth justice, human rights, and social change. They began their career at Youthlaw as our Youth Homelessness and Drug Outreach Lawyer and have remained committed to our vision of a fairer society shaped by young people ever since.

Victorian Law Week is back again for 2025!

Youthlaw’s Beth King and YACVic’s Laura Crozier will be presenting on Affirmative Consent, covering everything from how to approach conversations with young people about consent, the importance of these conversations, best practice and the legal aspect of affirmative consent laws.
