The Law Handbook: a practical online guide to law in Victoria, including fact sheets which provide an introduction to different areas of the law

Victoria Legal Aid: Their website has comprehensive online legal information and info on legal services for a range of legal problems

Federation of Community Legal Centres: click here to find your local community legal centre in Victoria – all provide free legal help to people unable to afford legal help. Most CLCs provide advice & limited on-going casework and some representation. See the website of your local CLC or call them, to check if they can help.

Ombudsman Victoria: investigates complaints about the actions and services provided by state government departments, most statutory authorities and local government.
